Tourism Fiji is seeking an experienced travel-marketing professional to manage its trade partnerships with the goal of increasing visitor arrivals from the United Kingdom/Europe to Fiji.

Reporting to the Regional Manager UK/Europe the Trade Partnerships Manager will oversee the identification, development, implementation and measurement of strategic agreements with wholesale and retail partners in UK/Europe in line with the overall strategies of Tourism Fiji. Building trade’s product knowledge of Fiji is a central component of the role.

The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of current travel distribution models and experience in managing trade campaigns, events and familiarization trips with a proven record for results driven activities.

Based in Tourism Fiji’s London office, the position requires outstanding communication skills with the expectation to build and maintain relationships with key trade partners across the region and the ability to simultaneously manage numerous projects.

Knowledge of Fiji and/or the South Pacific as a tourism destination is desirable, as is the ability to communicate professionally and passionately about the destination.

Relevant degree in Tourism, Marketing or Communications or highly relevant experience in a similar role is mandatory, along with the legal right to work and residency in UK/Europe. The role will require you to drive and also travel.
