We know that this is an extremely difficult time for businesses and individuals across Fiji and we are closely monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation as it develops to ensure we are in the best position to work with the Fiji Government and other key partners to manage what’s happening as effectively as possible. 

Latest COVID-19 information in Fiji

Following the declaration of COVID-19 as a global pandemic in March 2020, Fiji made health and safety its top priority.

Fiji was the first country in the Pacific to access COVID-19 vaccines from COVAX, and through bilateral partnerships has procured enough vaccines to vaccinate all eligible adults 18yrs old and above.

Fiji has a robust vaccination program that is being supported by the tourism industry, with many resorts and hotels now fully vaccinated. 

Vaccination status as of 8 September 2021:

  • 96.5% of the target population have received one dose, which is 566,285 adults.

  • 51.1% are now fully vaccinated nationwide in Fiji, which is 300,039 adults.
